DIRECTOR (OPERATION)

Capt. Syed Sohel Hasnatis the Director (Operation) and in Charge of the Agency and Chartering operation. He obtained his master mariner’s license from South Shields UK and has 24 yrs experience in maritime industry which includes a period of six years service as a master in command of ocean going vessel. He has almost four years of shore based shipping & agency service experience having served as agency head for groups representing major international shipping lines and feeder vessels in chittagong. He has obtained Diploma in Nautical Science from South Shields Polytechnic being honored with certificate of Achievement award. He is also a Chartered Member of Institute of Logistics & Transport International and a member of Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers. Prior to joining Interport Ship Agents Ltd. Capt. Hasnat worked in the Bangladesh offices of Pacific International Lines (PIL) and Orient Express Lines (OEL).

Advisor
Mr. Shamsul Alam is the Advisor of ISAL. He has enormous experience of about half a century in Shipping and Logistics. He has worked in senior positions in the past as the General Manager of Shaw Wallace Bangladesh Ltd the agents for APL, Hapag Lloyd, CGM and CMB. He also worked as the General Manager of APL Bangladesh Ltd., Executive Director of Omnitrans International Ltd (Agents for OOCL) and the Vice Chairman of Bangladesh Steamer Agents Association.
